Challenging concert works for bands with instrumentation deficiencies. You get a sound that is indistinguishable from typical concert literature in pieces that can be played with a “skeleton” instrumentation. Reduced instrumentation can limit the potential of strong players. These works offer a creative, practical solution to bands lacking a full compliment of musicians!
